Connecting Cable Owners.
Protecting Critical Infrastructure.
The North American Submarine Cable Association (NASCA) is a nonprofit trade association representing owners of submarine cable systems that land in North America.
Founded in 2000, NASCA provides a collaborative forum for cable owners to exchange information, share expertise, and address the technical, regulatory, legal, and policy issues affecting submarine cable infrastructure. By bringing together organizations with a direct ownership interest in these systems, NASCA helps advance a shared commitment to their protection, reliability, and resilience.
Our Mission
NASCA's mission is to promote the protection of submarine cable infrastructure and strengthen cooperation among North American cable owners and the many stakeholders whose activities intersect with these critical networks.
What We Do
Through collaboration, education, outreach, and engagement, NASCA works to increase awareness, reduce damage risks, support safe operations and ensure the resilience of global communications infrastructure.

Keep North America Connected
The infrastructure beneath our waters plays an essential role in connecting North America with the rest of the world. Protecting it requires communication, cooperation, and a shared understanding of the marine environment.
NASCA brings submarine cable owners together around a common purpose-protecting shared networks and helping ensure they remain resilient for the future.
